Nilwood, M.P. 214.5

Nilwood is a small, Illinois farm town located between Carlinville and Girard.. While there is only a single team track and grain elevator here, it's an interesting little town no matter what! The first image is north of Nilwood where the C&NW crosses over the GM&O and a state highway on its way southwest to Litchfield to run on trackage rights to St. Louis on the Litchfield and Madison.
